summary: "Received unexpected end-of-file from server" with PSCP
class: bug: This is clearly an actual problem we want fixed.
absent-in: 0.61 0.62

fixed-in: r10016 4ae1e260eac7ef0b9d4b444543c33d1467a7a81b 2013-08-14 (0.64)

In 0.63, when PSCP is downloading a file and is using the old-style SCP protocol, at the end it emits the spurious message "Fatal: Received unexpected end-of-file from server" even if the transfer completed successfully.

As far as we know, this can't result in data loss – the file(s) being received have all been saved and closed by the time the spurious error condition is reported.
